Heart shaped, Lolita inspired sunglasses have been top of my "wish list" ever since I first read the infamous book. The iconic shape is one that can instantly define or even influence anything from an outfit to a photo-shoot. In fact these exact glasses served as inspiration for a "Girly" accessory photo-shoot I recently styled and photographed,  which you take a look at on my freshly made "portfolio" tumblr page "Created by Peaches" here. The main focus of the shoot was a bright, red accessory (handmade by moi!) which was inspired by the use of layering christmas baubles with everyday hardware objects, such as: nails, screws etc.  It was big, bright and a bit of nightmare to transport especially with rush hour on the tube! However it's "outrageousness" served as the perfect accompaniment to the concept of the shoot.

You know that moment  when you go into a shop i.e. Staples to buy A1 paper, but instead get kind of side-tracked by a particular aisle that sells pastel, coloured Hello Kitty backpacks. This happened to me the other day, and apparently I now have a new-found "weakness" for anything along the lines of pastel coloured (or Hello Kitty for that matter). To be honest I was on the look-out for a new Uni bag (or so I kept telling myself) so when this one "happened" to fall into my basket at ahem £7.50 (BARGAIN) the checkout was simply calling me. Yet I still did not get the thing I initially wanted-paper, I guess that's what happens when the "Hello Kitty" effect transcends on you.

P.S Check out bubba Missy's new iPhone case, from Iconemesis, which might I add is a coffee addicts dream in illustration form. To be honest there is no better way to proclaim your love for coffee, than through your iPhone's wardrobe.

P.p.s. You may or may not have noticed, that I am sporting a mermaid inspired shade to my locks- yep that's right I finally have pastel coloured hair! Prepare yourself for colour changing locks appearing on the daily.

When it comes to celebrating your birthday, in the colder/autumn months, there's nothing like receiving a warm (fluffy) coat to get you through those 'chills' until the spring warmth re-appears. So when I received this for my birthday last Saturday, my pastel, "fluffy" dreams were fulfilled. It honestly feels like I'm wearing my duvet 24/7, making the daily tube journey that much more "snuggly". Especially with lilac being my go-to shade as of late, and a freshly coloured mop to match. Hello my Little Pony Hair >_< Matching the colour of my hair to my outfit, is recently becoming a new "thing" of mine.

Logo t-shirts have been a new(ish) addition to my wardrobe ever since I laid my hands on my first band-tee. In fact they've become one of those pieces I see myself going for when I want to "dress down" an outfit, like pairing with a 50's style midi skirt in todays post. The new "Blogger" t-shirt inspired collection, from Lush T-shirts, is one which is filled with "classic" blog quotes and eye-catching designs.
I'm in love with my "Blog Off" tee, from the collection, as I'm obsessed with the font they used (typography geek) and the cartoonist element that the slogan has.  It's a piece which I can see myself pairing with a simple pair of black skinnies to a full-on metallic pleated skirt (see previous outfit for details). It has easily become a staple in one's wardrobe and if you haven't already, then do check out the "Blogger Range" of t-shirts from Lush T-Shirts, to see which one takes your fancy!

With London Fashion Week feeling like a lifetime ago, I thought it was about time that I posted my second (and last) instalment of the amazing street style gracing the cobbles of The Somerset House. This season I felt that pastels and midi skirts were the "it-item" of the moment, with extremely girly accessories paired throughout-queue unicorn clutch and metallic headbands at the ready. Yet there was still a strong masculine, tailored feel going on, with a slight 'urban' vibe. All I can say is that I came away feeling fully inspired about how I could approach different ways of styling (and dressing-up!). London you never seem to disappoint me.
